"Burlesque" is a deeply personal project born from my long-standing admiration for the art of burlesque and the performers who bring it to life. This endeavor involves traveling to interview and photograph burlesque dancers across the globe. For years, I have been mesmerized by the world of burlesque - the glitz, the glamour, and the unapologetic celebration of individuality and sensuality. As a frequent attendee of burlesque shows, I’ve developed a profound respect for the performers. Through this project, I aim to document not only their dazzling onstage personas but also the intricate realities behind the curtain - their personal journeys, motivations, and the challenges they face as artists.
